you tapped your shoulder
inviting my head in
and there it went
or the other way around,
you lying on me with those big
brown eyes staring at me
when i was staring at you
you called me a charmer
i said i was sincere
and sincerely i mean it when i say

that you are beautiful.

you kissed me on the cheek
or i kissed your cheek
either way
we both kissed each others cheeks eventually
small kisses
and long kisses
those travelling kisses, all different kinds
and we fell asleep holding hands
with both hands
and i said something about it in the morning
it was nice, i thought,
to listen to your breathing
when you were falling asleep
and i was next to you.
